Stewart the cat

 This is Stewart. He is the cat we had when I lived in Willow Creek Assisted Living. They closed Willow Creek and Stewart was adopted by a nice lady. Last time I talked to her, Stewart was doing great.

Remembering

Many years ago, in the summer my friends and I took a trip to Niagara Falls New York. I loved the falls. We even got to ride a boat that went down the Niagara River

 

Painting

  I am going to have to start doing some painting. I got a paint by number for Christmas and some watercolors too. I have to get a table to set the painted pictures on for them to dry. All I have is this bedside table that I use as a computer table. I don't think I have ever used it as a bedside table. I sleep in bed I don't eat in it.

We are supposed to have a yard sale tomorrow. If I find out where it is I will go and look around. I love yard sales. Always find something.

Strength

 We do not to be afraid of anyone. The Lord is on our side, if love him and trust in him.

God made us

Thank you, Lord for all you do. You have saved my life. Many years ago, I was riding my bicycle home from work, and I was struck by a car. I spent several months in the hospital, and I have lived for many years in Assisted Livings and Rehab Centers. I am currently in a wheelchair, but I am alive and able to do many things for myself.

I got a surprise yesterday. My cousin from Michigan stopped to see me. I knew that was coming to Florida to visit but I didn't know when. She will be coming by today to visit some more.

Love

 

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

What do I love? First, I love the Lord, then I love my family and friends. Of course, I love cats. No, I never owned a bunch of cats. Only one at a time. Right now, I do not own a pet of any kind. There is a therapy dog here at Assisted Living where I live.

Fruit of the Spirit

 This is one of my favorite verses. These are the things that the spirit of God helps you do. The Bible calls this spirit The Holy Ghost or The Holy Spirit. Depending on what version you are reading.

My Family

 This picture is of my cousin Lisa, myself, and my mom. It was taken at a memorial service for our uncle who passed away. The other people in the background are family as well. My mom had passed on. I am now in a wheelchair and living in an Assisted Living. I am doing great. My cousin is happily married and a grandmother to five grandchildren.

This is a picture of my aunt Marlene, and I when her and my uncle Neil visited me last year. 

All of my family lives in the state of Michigan. I live in Florida. 

Great Times

As we begin the New year. I want to remember some of the good times.

One of those good times was when my friends and I traveled to Niagara Falls New York and saw the falls. No, we did not go over to Canada. We did go on a boat that went down the Niagara river. Everyone had to wear raincoats and got pretty wet when we got close to the falls.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog for 2026. I decided to make my blog here instead of at the other place, because I like the layouts better and it is easier to navigate. This picture of me is a few years old. I believe at the time I was living at Avalon Nursing Home which has changed their name since I moved years ago. I now make my home at Willow Brook Assisted Living in Lake City Florida. Very nice place. I am Apostolic Pentecostal Christian lady who loves The Lord and likes cats. Okay, I love cats. 

This is Charlie my cat I had about twenty years ago. Since I have moved to Florida I haven't had any cats of my own. We did have a therapy cat at Willow Creek Assisted Living when I stayed there before they closed. The cat went home with a nice lady that worked there.
